Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme is focused on People, Community, Governance and the Environment.

Our People

We ensure that our people are sufficiently trained and supported to do their jobs effectively and safely, whilst delivering our goals to the highest of standards. This aligns with our key objectives of Zero Harm and Get Home Safely.

These objectives provide the foundation of honesty, safety, professionalism, integrity and quality in everything we do. This creates a positive working environment and ensures employee involvement, respect, health, safety and wellbeing initiatives are achieved.

Our Community

Kordia is committed to operating in a responsible, sustainable and effective way for the benefit of our community and stakeholders.

Professional driver behaviour is a mandatory requirement for all staff operating our company vehicles. This helps ensure their wellbeing as well as that of all other road users.

We further support the community by providing financial assistance to charities such as Red Kite to help children & young people with cancer and their families, Nepal Earthquake Appeal and Heart Kids Foundation.

OUR ENVIRONMENT

With a continually expanding operation, we recognise the impact our business can have on the environment. We are committed to reducing pollution and waste. We also maintain biodiversity and proper land management practices when working in the field and follow our Environmental Policy and Management System (certified to ISO 14001:2004) to minimise our impact.




We help the environment by:

• Expanding our ISO 14001:2004 environmental certification to all offices nationally

• Reducing energy consumption programs

• Reducing vehicle fleet emissions by considering best green star ratings

• Always considering teleconference meetings as the first option over travel

• Reusing and recycling paper and cardboard

• Reusing bubble wrap

• Recycling printer toner cartridges

• Reducing paper and toner use

• Recycling obsolete computers, mobile phones, accessories and equipment.
