Kordia engineers are experienced in developing high-level plans and intricate detailed network design solutions for installing high capacity nodes and integrating them into critical, live fibre networks.
Kordia recently completed a mobile carrier network design, network deployment and integration project. This also included migration of traffic onto new 10GBit/s fibre rings for Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth.
Implementing telecommunications network designs and carefully manipulating circuits with concurrent traffic migration are key to ensuring connectivity between fibre rings and the network. Timing was absolutely crucial to avoid disruption to the network.
Kordia was asked to re-use existing dark fibre, which meant our team spent hours planning, moving and migrating traffic to free up dark fibre segments. At least 2,000 E1s circuits were moved without any customer experiencing a single dropped call.
